Kaboom Hotel Maastricht 3D visualisation

KKaboom Hotel Maastricht Render

In the spring of 2015, Kaboom Hotel Maastricht was only weeks away from being opened and faced a problem. “How do we get the rooms booked before they’re even built?” Of course, no one books a room without any visual reference, like a photograph. At this point, we stepped in.

the challenge was to visualize the rooms, in order to get them booked before they were even built.

Our challenge was to visualize the hotel before even a drop of paint was applied. In order to do so, we stayed in close touch with the architects (inter/alter) and the patrons, La Bergère Group. We started building the hotel in 3D, based on the blueprints and a basic SketchUp model. During the process, we met on regular basis to make sure the visuals had the look and feel as the architects intended. After several meetings, all parties were satisfied with the look and feel of the final images. These were to be used on the Kaboom Hotel website and a number of online travel agents, with success. When the hotel opened, already 95% of the rooms were booked, purely based on the 3D visuals.
